Irish Immersion in Galway: A Journey of Learning and Discovery

Having the chance of living abroad on your own to widen your horizons, become fluent in a second language as well as learn life skills is exactly what the Irish Immersion Programme provides to our students every year.

This time the chosen destination was Galway, a small coastal town located in the east coast, which boasts of having a unique university atmosphere alongside the warmth of its inhabitants.

A group of secondary studens embarked on this adventure on August,27th hosted by families who welcomed them as part of their own. From the very start they had to immerse in their daily routines by attending lessons at their Irish School and taking part on ourdoor activities such as farming or Gaelic football.

It will be at the end of October when they will come back home with a suitcase packed with unforgettable memories.
